Access to the Asset Groups section is controlled by the SeeAssetGroupsPage permission. This permission grants users the ability to view the list of asset groups and access individual asset group details.

You cannot add, edit, or delete asset groups. If you need to make changes to asset groups, please contact support for assistance.

The Asset Group Details page allows you to view all the settings and configurations for a specific asset group.
  1. Access the Asset Groups Page:
    1. Navigate to the Assets page.
    2. Click on the Asset Groups tab.
    3. From the list of asset groups, click the desired asset group to open its details.

  2. View Group Information:
    1. In the "Asset Group Info" section, you can view:
      1. Name: The unique name of the asset group.
      2. Variant: Displays whether the group is classified as "Vehicle," "Static Asset," or "Trailer."
      3. Make: Shows the manufacturer or brand (if provided).
      4. Model: Displays the model designation (if provided).
      5. Vehicle Class: For vehicle variants only, shows the vehicle type. This field does not apply to "Static Asset" or "Trailer" variants.
      6. Update Frequency: Indicates the time threshold (in minutes) after which the system assigns "Unknown" moving status if the tracker hasn’t updated within that period.

    2. In the "Maintenance" section, you can view:
      1. Days Between Checklists
      2. Distance Between Services (Vehicle only)
      3. Hours Between Services (Vehicle only)
      4. Max Days Between Services (Vehicle only)
      5. Days Between Inspections
      6. Months to First MOT

    3. In the "Fuel & Costs" section (Vehicle Variant Only), you can view:
      1. Fuel
      2. Fuel Tank Capacity (lt)
      3. Idle Litres / Hour
      4. Miles per Gallon
      5. Vehicle Cost (Per Mile)
      6. CO₂ g/Km

    4. In the "Excessive Thresholds" section (Vehicle Variant Only), you can view:
      1. Idle Time: The time a vehicle needs to be stationary before it is considered idle.
      2. Excessive Idle Time: The time a vehicle needs to be idle before it is considered to have been idle for an abnormal period.
      3. Excessive Speed: The threshold (in % Kph or Mph) that triggers excessive speeding events.
      4. Excessive Journey Duration: The duration in hours and minutes after which a journey is considered excessively long.
      5. Excessive Journey Distance: The distance after which a journey is considered excessively long.
      6. Excessive RPM Threshold: The engine RPM threshold that triggers an excessive RPM event.
      7. Excessive Accelerator Threshold: The accelerator usage threshold (in %) that triggers an excessive acceleration event.
      8. Excessive Torque Threshold: The torque usage threshold (in %) that triggers an excessive torque event.

    5. In the "Expenses" section (Vehicle Variant Only), you can view:
      1. Mileage Rate: Rate per mile.
      2. Mileage Reduced Rate: Reduced rate per mile.
      3. Mileage Threshold: Mileage after which the reduced rate applies.

    6. In the "Digital Inputs" section, you can view:
      1. Digital Input 1, 2, 3, 4: Each input shows:
        1. Name: The name of the input.
        2. Off Text: The text displayed when the input is off.
        3. On Text: The text displayed when the input is on.

    7. In the "Digital Outputs" section, you can view:
      1. Digital Output 1, 2, 3, 4: Each output shows:
        1. Name: The name of the output.
        2. Off Text: The text displayed when the output is off.
        3. On Text: The text displayed when the output is on.

    8. In the "Temperature Inputs" section, you can view:
      1. Temperature Input 1, 2: Each input shows:
        1. Name: The name of the input.
        2. Format: The format used to display temperature readings.

    9. In the "Power Take Off (PTO)" section, you can view:
      1. Name: The name of the PTO.
        1. Off Text: The text displayed when the PTO is off.
        2. On Text: The text displayed when the PTO is on.
        3. Source: Displays "CAN."

    10. In the "Tracker Commands" section, you can view:
      1. Number of Commands: Displays the number of configured commands.
      2. Each command shows:
        1. Name: The name of the command.
        2. Value: The command sent to the device.
        3. Send as TCP: Checked if the command is sent over TCP.
        4. Send as SMS: Checked if the command is sent via SMS.
